How Maple Care works
Maple Care is a lead marketplace for elder, child, property and pet care across Canada. Clients post a free request and professionals create a free profile. Both stay anonymous until someone buys the other side's lead to get the contact details. The buyer then reaches out, and both sides agree on the work directly.

How do I find care on Maple Care, step by step?
Create a free account, then post a request describing the care you need, your city, the schedule, the hours you can guarantee and how many people you need. Professionals in your city get an alert, and those who buy your lead contact you. You interview them, do your own checks and choose who to hire.
- Sign up free and choose the type of care: elder, child, property or pet
- Post a request with what, where, when, guaranteed hours and how many people
- Set a buyer limit: how many professionals may buy your request
- Professionals who buy your lead get your contact details and reach out
- Interview, check references and agree on the work directly
- Or browse profiles and buy a professional's lead to contact them first
How do care professionals find clients on Maple Care?
Care professionals join free and build a profile describing their services, experience and city. They upload certifications to earn badges and choose email or text alerts for new matching requests. When a request fits, they buy the lead to get the client's contact details, reach out and agree on the work at rates they set.
- Sign up free and build a profile of your services
- Upload certifications such as first aid or a vulnerable sector check to earn badges
- Store your resume and certificates in your account
- Get email or text alerts for new matching requests
- Buy the leads that fit, then contact the client using our message templates
- Agree on the work and your rates directly with the client
What does a lead show before someone buys it?
A request shows the type of care, the city, the schedule, how many hours are guaranteed, how many people the client needs, the buyer limit and how many professionals have already bought it. A profile shows services, city and badges. Neither shows a real name, address, email or phone number until the lead is bought.
What happens after a lead is bought?
Whoever buys the lead gets the other side's contact details, and it is up to the buyer to make contact. We provide message templates for each care type to help start the conversation. If both sides buy each other's lead, both have the contact details. The client and professional then agree on the work between them.
Maple Care is not a party to that agreement and does not guarantee that anyone is hired or the results of any work. Clients should interview, check references and, for elder care and child care, ask for a current vulnerable sector check.
How does Maple Care review accounts?
Our team reviews every account after sign-up, and accounts that pass get a verified badge. Professionals can upload certifications such as first aid, a PSW certificate or a vulnerable sector check, and each one our team checks earns a badge. Businesses can show badges for how many people they have hired and clients they serve.
Badges are a screening signal, not a full background check. Our trust and safety page explains what they mean and what clients should still check themselves.
Frequently asked questions
Does it cost anything to post a request or create a profile?
No. Posting a request and creating a profile are both free. Buying a lead is paid, using credits, and the price is always shown before you buy. The price depends on the lead, for example how many hours are guaranteed. See the pricing page for details.
Is Maple Care an agency?
No. Maple Care is a lead marketplace run by Joel & Nanz Inc., a Canadian company. We connect clients with independent care professionals. We do not hire or manage anyone, we are not a party to the agreement between client and professional, and we do not guarantee any work.
Which types of care and places does Maple Care cover?
Maple Care covers four types of care: elder care, child care, property care and pet care. It works across Canada, and each city has its own pages. Requests and profiles show the city, so clients and professionals can find each other close to home.
How do I hear about new requests or profiles?
You can turn on email and text (SMS) alerts for new leads that match what you are looking for. Alerts let professionals see new requests quickly, which matters because each request has a buyer limit and can fill up.
What if a lead's contact details are fake?
If a lead's contact details turn out to be fake or unreachable, you can ask for your credits back, unless that lead already carried a verified badge. Write to [email protected] with the details of the lead so our team can look into it.
Can I use Maple Care in French?
Yes. Maple Care is bilingual and works in English and French. Switch the site to French at any time, and say in your request or profile which language you prefer to work in, so the other side knows before deciding to buy your lead.
