Professionals on Maple Care offer help for seniors living at home: company and conversation, meals, light housekeeping, errands, rides to appointments, and help with bathing, dressing and moving around. Each professional lists the services they offer and sets their own rates, so read each profile carefully and confirm what they can do.

How does posting an elder care request work?

Describe the help your parent needs, the city, when it should start, how many hours you can guarantee and how many caregivers you need. Posting is free. Your request is shown without your name, address, email or phone number, and matching professionals get an email or text alert about it.

Each request shows a buyer limit: how many professionals may buy it. You set it, with a minimum of 5. We suggest twice the number of people you need, or 5 if you need one caregiver. Professionals also see how many have already bought it.

A professional who buys your lead gets your contact details and reaches out to you. From there, you and the caregiver talk and agree on the work between you.

What do the verified and certification badges mean?

Our team reviews every account after sign-up, and accounts that pass get a verified badge. Professionals can also upload certifications such as first aid, a PSW certificate or a vulnerable sector check, and each one our team checks earns a badge on their profile. Badges are a useful signal, not a full background check.

Care businesses can also show badges for how many people they have hired and how many clients they serve. Read more on our trust and safety page.

How do I choose an elder caregiver safely?

Maple Care does not hire or manage caregivers and is not a party to your agreement, so the checks are yours to make. Interview each person, call their references and ask for a current vulnerable sector check, the police check for work with seniors, before anyone cares for your parent.

Posting a request is free for families. Professionals pay to buy your lead, and they set their own rates for the work, which you agree with them directly. If you would rather contact a caregiver first, you can buy their profile lead yourself. The price is always shown before you buy.
