How do I join Maple Care as a cleaner or caretaker?
Sign up free and create a profile describing the property services you offer, your city, experience, languages and availability. You can join as an individual or as a care business. Our team reviews every account after sign-up, and accounts that pass get a verified badge. Your profile never shows your name, address, email or phone number.

Which badges can I earn as a property care provider?
Every account that passes our team's review gets a verified badge. Upload any certifications you hold, such as first aid or a police check, and each one our team checks earns its own badge. Property management and cleaning businesses can also show badges for how many people they have hired and how many clients or units they serve.
You can store your resume and certificates in your account, so they are ready whenever an owner asks.
How do I read a property owner's request?
Each request shows the type of property work, the city, when it is needed, how many hours are guaranteed and how many people the owner needs. It also shows the buyer limit, meaning how many professionals may buy that lead, and how many already have. These details help you decide whether the request is worth buying.
The owner sets the buyer limit, with a minimum of 5. The price of each lead is shown before you buy and depends on the lead, for example the guaranteed hours.

What happens after I buy a property care lead?
You get the owner's contact details and reach out yourself. Maple Care provides message templates for property care to help you start the conversation. You and the owner then agree the scope of work, schedule, access to the property and your rates directly. Maple Care is not a party to that agreement and does not guarantee the work.
Owners can also buy your profile lead to contact you first. Email and text (SMS) alerts tell you when a new matching request is posted.
Who sets my rates for cleaning and caretaking work?
You do. As an independent service provider or care business, you set your own rates and agree them directly with each owner, whether the work is a one-time clean or a recurring visit. Maple Care does not set rates or take part in your agreement. Clear rates in your first message help the owner decide quickly.

Do I need certifications to offer property care on Maple Care?
No. You can join and build a profile without any certifications. Describe your experience clearly on your profile. Any certifications you do upload earn badges once our team checks them, and badges help owners choose who to contact.
Which badges can owners see on my property care profile?
Owners see your verified badge once our team has reviewed your account, plus a badge for each certification we have checked. Cleaning and property management businesses can also show badges for how many people they have hired and how many clients or units they serve.
Can I offer property care and other types of care?
Yes. Your profile can cover several care types: elder care, child care, property care and pet care. You get alerts for new matching requests in each type you offer, and your badges appear wherever clients see your profile.
Is my name shown to owners before they buy my lead?
No. Profiles never show your real name, address, email or phone number, and your location appears by city only. An owner gets your contact details only if they buy your lead, and you get theirs when you buy their request. If both sides buy, both have the contact details.
What if an owner's contact details are fake?
If the contact details on a lead you bought turn out to be fake or unreachable, write to [email protected] and ask for your credits back. This does not apply if the lead already carried a verified badge when you bought it.
Do I need a vulnerable sector check for property care?
It is not usually needed for property work on its own. Owners will often ask about references, since you may hold their keys. If you also offer elder care or child care, clients there will usually ask for a current vulnerable sector check; upload it to your account to earn a badge.
